APPELLATION : MARGAUX
The ambition of Château Dauzac is clear: to continue progressing among the finest Classified Growths of the Médoc. To achieve this, Dauzac’s teams draw on the estate’s true DNA, respect for tradition and innovation, while celebrating biodiversity as a precious contributor to wine quality. The vineyard has the rare privilege of being a single 49-hectare block: 45 hectares in the Margaux appellation and 4 hectares in Haut-Médoc, protected from ocean winds by its privileged position within 120 hectares of meadows and forest, near the Gironde estuary.
GOOD TO KNOW
In 2021, Château Dauzac unveiled its first vintage of a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée from an ungrafted vine parcel, aged in dolia. One of the rare such experiments in the Margaux appellation. Since 1924, its “Emperor” yellow label has remained an unchanged signature.
