APPELLATION : MARGAUX
For four centuries, generation after generation, the Château Palmer teams have devoted their talent, intelligence and expertise to a passionate quest: capturing the subtleties of this demanding and legendary terroir. The Brauzes Plateau, the first gravel terrace deposited by the Garonne during two glacial periods, radiates both vibrant energy and great serenity. To express its terroir, the estate works with a three-pillar grammar: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in equal parts, complemented by a touch of Petit Verdot? a singular grape mix for the region.
GOOD TO KNOW
Château Palmer also produces a white wine from three grape varieties nearly extinct in Bordeaux: muscadelle, sauvignon gris and lauzet, reviving a château tradition from the 1920s. The entire vineyard has been certified biodynamic under the Demeter label since 2018.
