La Grand’ Vigne

MICHELIN GUIDE: ★★

La Grand’ Vigne is one of the rare double-starred tables in the world to offer its own artistic trail through the vines at apéritif time. Nicolas Masse, long-standing head chef, pursues a single ambition: to illuminate the riches of Aquitaine, from caviar to Pyrenean lamb, kitchen garden vegetables and the wines of Pessac-Léognan, including those of the neighbouring Château Smith Haut Lafitte estate. The dining room, entirely reimagined in harmony with the natural landscape, opens onto the lake and vines. The pastry chef’s desserts have become a national reference according to the Michelin Guide. A perfect accord between wine country art de vivre and high gastronomy.
