MICHELIN GUIDE: ★
What makes Le Logis de la Cadène singular is its longevity in a village already saturated with history. Founded in 1848, it is Saint-Émilion’s oldest restaurant. Owned by the de Boüard de Laforest family (Château Angélus), it earned its Michelin star in 2017. Chef Thibaut Gamba cultivates a vegetable and maritime cuisine of great delicacy, squid in blood orange sauce, sea urchins with Bronte pistachio. The dining rooms, intimate and quietly elegant, share the spirit of the adjacent guest rooms. An address with a rare identity: that of a house that has known exactly what it is for one hundred and seventy years.
