Modest but sure of its presence, Clinet lies at one of the highest points on the famous plateau, at the heart of Pomerol, instantly recognisable by its red shutters and beautiful roses. It is home to one of the oldest vineyards in the appellation and one of the most famed for producing wine of incomparable character and quality. A treasury from Pomerol, located on the soils of the best Merlots in the world. Château Clinet is an elegant, intense wine with fine and complex aromas of red fruit, blackberries and spices.

Château Clinet has received two perfect 100-point Robert Parker scores: for the 1989 and 2009 vintages. The estate chose not to bottle its entire 1984 harvest in the name of quality, a rare and radical gesture that marked the beginning of a new era of excellence.
