Restaurant du Grand Barrail

MICHELIN GUIDE: IN THE SELECTION

Built in 1902 in a neo-romantic style evoking the great wine estates of the 19th century, Château Grand Barrail is one of Saint-Émilion’s most photographed five-star hotels. Its Michelin-selected restaurant offers two distinct experiences depending on the hour: bistronomic at lunch with light, well-executed cooking, more ambitious at dinner, veal sweetbreads roasted in Bordeaux butter, cardamom jus. The Art Nouveau salons, with their stained-glass windows casting coloured halos across the dining room, create a unique atmosphere at every service. The terrace, facing the park and vines surrounding the estate, perfectly extends a hotel stay.
