Wine Tasting Workshop: Learning to Taste Like a Professional
Your VINIV journey begins with a private wine tasting session. This important first stage helps you refine your palate, identify aromas and personal preferences, and better understand the characteristics of Bordeaux fine wines.
During each session, discussions with our experts deepen your knowledge of Bordeaux terroir, vintages, and winemaking techniques. Participants are also introduced to practices commonly used by wine professionals, such as racking. The transmission of this expertise is one of the defining elements of the VINIV experience.

Racking is the process of separating wine from the natural sediment that forms at the bottom of a tank or barrel, including the lees.
The winemaker carefully transfers the wine into another vessel without disturbing these deposits. This helps clarify the wine while supporting its development during ageing and preserving the finesse of its aromas.
Wine Blending: The Art of Creating Your Signature
This is one of the highlights of the journey: the moment when each participant begins to create a truly bespoke wine. Blending lies at the heart of the VINIV experience, as it is an essential part of Bordeaux’s winemaking identity.
Following the approach of a cellar master, each participant learns how to combine Bordeaux grape varieties in search of the ideal balance between structure, elegance, fruit, and length.
